Where research ends, you take the lead. Your role consists primarily of MLOps (approximately 75%) and partly of research and data engineering (approximately 25%).
MLOps & Production
You turn research models into robust, scalable solutions for production environments
You build MLOps pipelines, monitoring and model versioning to keep models running reliably
You optimize models for production. This includes ONNX conversion, TensorRT inference optimization and quantization
You support customers with model-related issues and resolve them quickly and sustainably
Research & Data Engineering
You analyze data, validate models and help further develop the data structure
You work on computer vision applications, including:
Automatic sorting of clothing by color, material and quality
Defect detection through image analysis
Pricing based on photographs
You will have the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects such as textile sorting, shoe matching and picking systems
Collaboration
You work closely with a research-driven AI engineer. You ensure that what works in the lab continues to work on the factory floor: high-performing, monitored and maintainable.
Hands-on and pragmatic. You enjoy making things truly work
You keep up with new AI tools and trends and are confident applying them, including in areas where the team has not yet built expertise
You enjoy making complex matters simple
You work in a structured way and maintain a clear overview in a dynamic R&D environment
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, such as AI, Computer Science, Computer Vision or Creative Technology
You have approximately 3 years of experience in machine learning/AI engineering
Strong software engineering skills: clean code, testability and production reliability
Hands-on experience with model optimization
A close-knit, young team of 6 tech enthusiasts who welcome your ideas and questions and who value quality and structure over chaos
A challenging role with a direct impact on sustainable innovation by reducing textile waste through smart automation
You will not only develop the models, but also put them into practice
